How to care for your nails between visits

What you do at home decides how long your results last. These are the tips we give in the salon.

Gel polish

  • Apply cuticle oil every day, ideally before bed.
  • Wear gloves for dishes and cleaning products.
  • Don't use your nails as tools to open cans or peel labels.
  • If a corner lifts, don't pick it: gel takes layers of your natural nail with it. Message us and we'll fix it.
  • Removal is done at the salon, never by scraping at home.

Acrylic, builder & polygel

  • Book a fill every 2–3 weeks: as the nail grows, the balance point moves and the nail gets fragile.
  • Use cuticle oil daily to keep both the product and your natural nail flexible.
  • If it lifts, don't glue it down — water gets trapped underneath. Book a check-up.
  • If you need to adjust the length, file in one direction only.

Pedicure

  • Moisturize feet and heels every night; cotton socks boost the effect.
  • Exfoliate gently once a week, with no sharp tools.
  • Don't cut your cuticles at home: push them back gently after a shower.
  • If you had regular polish, wear open sandals for the first few hours.

Brows & lashes

  • Lamination and lash lift: keep the area dry and avoid steam or sauna for the first 24 hours.
  • Extensions: clean them with an oil-free cleanser and brush them daily.
  • Don't rub or pull extensions, and skip waterproof mascara.
  • Sleep on your back the first few nights so they keep their shape.
The 3-week rule

Book your next visit before you leave

Nails grow about 3 mm a month. Around week three the regrowth starts to show and the product loses its balance — the ideal moment for a fill. Book your next visit the same day and keep your favorite time.
